Looking to add a display

I'm planning on upping my fishing game, so I'd like to add a fishfindier and a display. Have anyone done this and how easy of a job it would be? Also, any recommendations for a specific model?

Installing a fishfinder's not too hard if you're handy, you just need power and a good spot for the transducer, I know Garmin and Humminbird get lots of love. What kind of water you fish?

Garmin and Humminbird are great picks, I agree with you there @Old Roger. Anyway, mounting the transducer can be a little tricky depending on your hull, but once that’s set, it’s pretty smooth.
