212 Limited S garage fit

If you're thinking about getting a Yamaha 212 Limited S and you've got an 8' garage door, be aware,squeezing it in can be a bit of a challenge. The standard height with the tower down is roughly 8'5".

Some owners have had success by either removing or extending the safety cables, allowing the tower to fold down lower. I came across a post where someone added longer lanyards to their 2017 212X and managed to get it down to 7'6", making garage storage a viable option.

You might also consider lowering the trailer tongue or using a dolly to help decrease the height when you're backing it in.
